UPDATE: First Tween Sasha Obama Has a Pizza Party for 9th Birthday

Sasha Obama turned 9 years old on June 10th. Her birthday last year was spent on the set of the latest Harry Potter movie in London, but this year, America's First Tween kept things considerably low-key: a pizza party at a local restaurant with family and a few friends.
The youngest Obama daughter had dinner at California Pizza Kitchen in the Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, MD with her mom (First Lady Michelle Obama), sister (Malia Obama), and four friends. Dinner was a pretty tame event, and the First Tweens enjoyed ice cream sundaes for dessert.

We love that the First Family mixes it up with some big and some low-key birthday festivities - we definitely alternate with our tweens.
