Tai Shan, DC's unofficial mascot, turned 4 on July 9th. We just saw this picture of his birthday cake, and it is impressive! A 3-tier confection made of bamboo, beet juice (to give it a pink hue), shredded beets and ice. Happy Birhday, Tai Shan!
